n April 2020, South Korean medical device-makers WONTECH received FDA clearance for their hybrid laser device called the Sandro Dual. The Sandro Dual is used for hair removal and correction of skin blemishes, and is lauded for its ability to treat specific areas accurately. The result is a faster and more effective treatment procedure that doesn’t damage the surrounding tissues.
The approval of Sandro Dual in 2020 meant that MD360 could add it to our growing line of FDA-approved specialty medical devices. The Sandro Dual also includes a skin-cooling spray to ease patient discomfort, swelling, and redness following the procedures. This laser device can be used not just for hair removal, but also to treat pigmented lesions, vascular lesions, and for general skin rejuvenation.
